BORDEAUX SUPERIEUR

Like Bordeaux, Bordeaux Supérieur is a regional appellation. These two appellations alone account for half of the wines produced in Bordeaux. To be eligible for AOC status, Bordeaux wines must come from old vines and have been aged for at least nine months before reaching the market. This appellation is crammed with hidden gems, well off the beaten track.
