GIGONDAS

Nestling in the Dentelles de Montmirail mountain chain, the Gigondas appellation covers 1,200 hectares. At a little over 400 meters above sea level and enjoying a cooler climate than the neighbouring appellations, Gigondas produces slightly more full-bodied wines with a good structure on which to evolve over time. An ideal location in which to settle and grow crops, the Gigondas site has been inhabited since prehistoric times.
