CANON-FRONSAC

Canon-Fronsac is a tiny appellation nestled in the heart of Fronsac. Famous in the 19th century for its great red wines, the appellation was almost entirely wiped out by phylloxera. It was not until the 1970s and 1980s that the appellation attracted renewed interest. Made mainly from the Merlot grape, the wines are powerful, firm and deep red.
