General quality of the vintage wine: Good. Fruity and attractive, structured and fleshy wines. Quelquues-uns, missing maturity, can present green tannins.

State of the grape harvests: grape harvest from in the middle of September, high return, uneven quality and sometimes immature grapes.
General quality of the vintage wine: Good, but irregular. Vintage, elegant, fruity wines of a good acidity. In the whole of well-balanced wines, even if some miss firmness.

Abundance: average.
Quality: Good, but uneven. Strong selection.
General quality of the vintage wine: Good, but uneven. Certain wines are flexible and of fast evolution. Others have hard tannins. But also success, good to keep.

General quality of the vintage wine: Very beautiful. Well-constituted wines. Very good keeping quality.
Rhone Valley- 1998
General quality of the vintage wine: very good. Some magnificent success.
White Alsace - 1998
The best region of France this year? Maybe indeed. Dry wines are long and powerful, but especially " there was as long botrytis that, often, a single passage in vineyards was sufficient. The syrupy have an incredible complexity ", shows Catherine Faller.
